Spring Alive is an international project to encourage children's interest in nature and the conservation of migratory birds and to get them to take action for birds and other wildlife as well as to participate in events by BirdLife Partners. It is a simple bird watching survey.
Thanks to children and adults all around Europe Spring Alive is able to track the spring arrival every year. Participation is very simple and can be a great fun. All you need to do is register your first birds sightings on-line every year. Spring Alive is interested in your personal first observation of swallow and swift. Spring Alive analyses the results to track the arrival of spring every year and to find the week when most people have seen the first birds. Thus more knowledge about bird migration in Europe will be acquired.
