Association of the Twelve Stars of the Heart of Jesus

The Association of the Stars of the Heart of Jesus is formed of lay faithful of any cultural and social condition who wish to assume a specific way of living the Gospel and of participating in the mission of the Church as inspired by the apostolic project of Fr. Joseph Diacono and of the Servant of God Mother Margherita De Brincat, Founders of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus.

Like the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus, the Association knows its origin to the first Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Sacred Heart. Since December 8, 1877 the very young Virginia De Brincat was its bright "star".

The Association is inspired by the invitation of Mother Margherita to "love the Love, who is not loved because He is not known," inspired and nourished from the profund intuition of St. Francis of Assisi: "We have to love a great deal the Love of the One who has loved us much."

To be committed within the Church as Stars of the Heart of Jesus the Members assume the particular aim of the Christian life: that of "reparation" for the offences made to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. Therefore, for this reason, every associate is given a day every month to live with the expressed intention of reparation, offering to Christ everything, thoughts, things done, silent prayer, family life and other relationship, relaxation and work, joy, sufferings and hopes."

Joined in groups and under the loving guidance of the delegated Sisters of the Congregation, the Stars of the Heart of Jesus spread in the world the animation of its apostolic project and at the same time contribute to the Congregation the specific values of its secular state in respect to its identity and autonomy.

Members of the association meet once a month. If you are interested in joining, kindly contact the Fraciscan Community via email in the Contact Us section.
